IdeateCOMM runs from 22 September to 4 October 2025.
All teams must attend the following two events which are both held at Ngee Ann Polytechnic.
Opening Ceremony: 22 September 2025, 9:00AM - 6:00PM (SGT)
Judging Day: 4 October 2025, 8:30AM - 3:30PM (SGT)
Project and Submission Requirements
All project submissions must be made via Devpost before 4 October, 10:00 AM.
Solution ideas must also be fully original (no reusing of past projects!) and follow one of the three problem statements provided. It also shouldn't violate any applicable laws or regulations, or promote illegal activity.

Judging Criteria and Winner Selection
Winners are decided based on the following criteria:
| Criteria | Weightage | Description |
| Impact and Relevance | 20% | The solution must be relevant to the problem statement and effectively address all key issues relevant to it, driving significant positive change |
| Innovation and Creativity | 15% | Is the solution unique, original and able to effectively solve the problem through out-of-the-box thinking? How extensively was market research conducted to understand users? |
| Technical Execution | 20% | Is the prototype well-designed with purposeful hardware and/or software integration, valuable features, and strong consideration for durability and life cycle management? |
| Design and User Experience | 15% | How intuitive and accessible is the solution to its intended users? |
| Implementation | 15% | Can the solution realistically be implemented with available resources, and will it be viable in the long term? |
| Pitch and Communication | 15% | How well is the problem, solution and implementation plan communicated? |
